We are a small, family business based in Virginia serving clients from Richmond to Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. Farpoint strives to be a different kind of tree care company. We will work with you to help you make an informed decision about the maintenance of your trees and shrubs, focusing on long-term functionality, beauty and health. If you have trees and shrubs in need of attention, we will use scientifically sound pruning standards to maintain the integrity of the plant or, if determined to be the best option, safely remove the tree or shrub entirely. We will bring out the best in your landscape trees and shrubs using best industry practices and standards to help achieve your goals.

What is Arboriculture?

Arboriculture (pronounced “AR-ber-culture”) is the cultivation and proper maintenance of woody plants and trees in the landscape. We like to use the term to convey a focus on integrity, professionalism and respect for trees. Practicing proper arboriculture requires knowledge, skill, experience and great attention to detail.

We love trees and, like a good doctor, we aim to “do no harm“.
